ASIS San Diego – 2027 Board Elections Announcement

Dear Members,

Nominations are now open for the 2027 ASIS San Diego Chapter Executive Committee, and we invite you to take an active role in shaping the future of our chapter.

The following officer positions are up for election for 2027:

- Chapter Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer

The Vice Chair position is not up for election this year and will continue through the remainder of the current term.

Serving as a chapter officer is an opportunity to contribute your experience and ideas, help guide the direction of ASIS San Diego, and support professional development, networking, and community-building opportunities for security professionals throughout our region.

Self-nominations are welcome. Members may nominate themselves or another eligible ASIS San Diego member.

Key Dates

- Candidate Introductions Begin: Monday, October 26
- Nominations Close: Friday, October 30
- Voting: November 2-6
- 2027 Officers Announced: At this year's holiday party

Beginning October 26, we will start introducing the members who have stepped forward to serve and sharing more about the responsibilities of each position.

Because nominations will remain open through October 30, additional candidates may be added throughout the week. The complete candidate slate will be published before voting opens on November 2.

If you are interested in serving, or know a fellow member who would be a strong addition to the chapter leadership team, we encourage you to submit a nomination.
