Robin Hattersley has been covering the security and campus law enforcement industries since 1998 and is a specialist in school, university and hospital security, public safety and emergency management, as well as emerging technologies and systems integration. She joined Campus Safety in 2005 and has authored award-winning editorial on campus law enforcement and security funding, officer recruitment and retention, access control, IP video, network integration, event management, crime trends, the Clery Act, Title IX compliance, sexual assault, dating abuse, emergency communications, incident management software and more. Robin has been featured on national and local media outlets and was formerly associate editor for the trade publication Security Sales & Integration. She obtained her undergraduate degree in history from California State University, Long Beach.

The San Diego ASIS Chapter is proud to host the 6th Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.This year we are honoring investigators making a difference!

Keynote Speaker: Adolfo Gonzales, Chief Investigator San Diego District Attorney's Office

On March 22, 2013, Adolfo Gonzales was appointed as the Chief Investigator for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office. Chief Gonzales leads the DA’s Bureau of Investigation, the law enforcement component of the District Attorney’s Office. The Bureau’s 120 District Attorney Investigators, 47 Public Assistance Fraud Investigators, 13 process servers, 11 paralegals, and nine technicians are assigned to eight divisions throughout the County of San Diego.

Chief Gonzales’s law enforcement career began in 1978, when he was selected to participate as a San Diego Police Department (SDPD) Reserve Officer and was later hired as a full-time Police Officer by SDPD in 1979. Adolfo advanced through the organization reaching the rank of investigative lieutenant in 1992.
